Blue Veins in collaboration with Social Welfare Department has established Help Desk with allocated staff and helpline numbers to facilitate NPOs in registration with KP Charity Commission under KP Charities Act 2019.
Blue Veins and Council of Islamic Ideology CII signed Memorandum of Cooperation MOC to raise public awareness on the harmful impact of child marriages and other social issues related to gender and make community level efforts for behavior change.
Blue Veins in September 2020 successfully organized the first ever “National level transgender health summit” in Islamabad. The summit The event was first national interactive event in Pakistan which brought together key stakeholders and community together from all over the country to share provincial level experience, state of health, structural barriers, initiatives taken by government or nongovernment stakeholders, and explored possible avenues, opportunities for the government and non-government stakeholders to strengthen the implementation of Section 12 of Transgender Protection of Rights Act 2018.
In 2018, Blue Veins organized National Conference in Islamabad to bring together religious leaders and clerics from all over Pakistan including Council of Islamic Ideology to debate on the role of religious leaders for policy making and legislation regarding Pro-women legislation. The conference successfully resulted in signing and endorsement of the consensual resolution by well-known religious scholars and leaders belonging to different faiths and school of thoughts belonging to different cities of Pakistan whereby they affirmed and committed to support pro-women legislations to curb sexual and gender based violence.
